Palo Alto
Online (Palo Alto, CA), launched September
25, 1996 and redesigned in September 2000, continues the online
tradition
of the Palo Alto Weekly,
the award-winning semi-weekly newspaper
that
was
the
first newspaper
in the United States to publish on the World Wide Web in January,
1994. We have included a full timeline of our online publishing,
available here.
Palo Alto Online offers access to the entire contents
of the Palo Alto Weekly, including back issues beginning in 1994,
as well as a wide range of information about the Palo Alto area.
Our goal is to provide residents and other interested persons
with a convenient, well-designed web site that can serve as an
online "hub" for the community, linking computer users to information
on community events and resources, links to other web sites relating
to life in Palo Alto and a way to interact with each other.
Since Palo
Alto Online is under constant revision and improvement,
we welcome your feedback and ideas. If you find that links
are incorrect or out-of-date, contact the Palo Alto Online
Webmaster, Frank
A. Bravo.
Palo Alto Online will consider providing links to the
web sites of non-profit organizations in the Palo Alto area.
